QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

This is a collection of some questions about the book and myself you may have

- Will there be a sequel to the book?
Here's a list of Supernatural related books I've begun and have a general plot for but may not definitely be finished and published:
- Completely rewriting Supernatural(and I mean completely. Wish me luck)
- Supernatural sequel — set in 2157
- Supernatural prequel — set in 1962

All of these(aside from the rewrite, obviously) will not have the same characters but are set in the same world. Does this mean that an actual sequel with the same characters is for sure not possible? I'm not going to say but it's unlikely as I don't have any ideas for it and plus I'd miss Morgan :( (even though it's my fault she's gone...)

- Are you planning on making any other books after this one?
I have about fifty drafts of unfinished books. Let's just say that Supernatural and those two other possible spinoffs will definitely not be my only pieces of work, but more books will come at an unpredictable date, but will definitely come! There is also Loose Ends, which is out now.

- Are there any books I can read that are similar to Supernatural?
Well, there's the book I took some inspiration from, The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken, and there are so many books on Wattpad that I think you'll be able to find something similar.

If you don't want to buy the book or wander through Wattpad, there's my MUST READ reading list on my account of books I've read from beginning to finish and loved. This includes science fiction, fantasy, action, adventure, humour, and teen fiction, which are genres found in this book so you could find something to enjoy.

There's also my other book, Loose Ends, which is an action book like this, but more thriller/mystery. I actually think it's better than Supernatural but that's just my opinion. Still, I think those who enjoyed this book would also like Loose Ends.

- How did you come up with Supernatural?
That was combined inspiration, actually. As I already said, The Darkest Minds, with kids with powers, and a vague idea of the camps. But the real inspiration for the camps was from a little movie clip I saw from Kingsman: The Secret Service(I've never seen the full movie, only the clip, so the stuff I say about it is just what I deduced from the scene that could be wrong). It was a flood scene, where this group of people were sleeping on cots in a room, and then it began to flood. They made it out, and there was someone watching them while safely behind a window. That someone, to me, seemed to be 'evil', or at least training them, so that was my inspiration for Leonard. I had also written a chapter that was heavily based on that scene, but I deleted it because I didn't find much purpose for it for the novel anymore which was an amazing feeling.

- How do you deal with writer's block?
Oh my god. It is my worst enemy, and the literal reason for why I have fifty million drafts. I don't exactly know how to deal with writer's block because I get it frequently, and there isn't much I can do about it.

Supernatural, like most my drafts, was a little idea that was off and on. I'd write a bit, and then leave it for a month, then possibly return to it. I had a spurt of ideas from hell know's where, and wrote the chapters from where 'Morgan' became '2832'(that little shift between third person calling Morgan Morgan and then calling Morgan 2832). Then I got stuck again and left it.

I absolutely love superhero books, by the way. And at that time, I was reading a couple and really wanted to write about a superhero. Then I thought about the world of The Lab(which, fun fact, was the original name for Supernatural although I kind of knew it wouldn't stay if I published) which I hadn't touched or added to in weeks or months and had the idea of two kinda main characters, one being a SN who had found his powers, and then decided to play vigilante.

Yeah, so all that to say I have no way of dealing with writer's block. Sometimes I'll just read different writing prompts, but not really get anything. It's just something I usually wait out.

- Do you have any advice for writing for other aspiring writers?
First off, I'd like to say I'm in no way an expert of writing. It's just a hobby of mine that I do, like, everyday, and these are just some tips I've picked up that work for me.

For me, something I found out pretty quickly and something I'd definitely recommend is writing down little things about the story you're writing you may not remember. I use Notes on my phone and write on my laptop or iPad, so as I write, I jot down little reminders. Mostly just the characters' full names and appearances, and that way I don't have to go searching through past chapters for that information.

I also submitted this story in the Wattys a while ago. I don't think I won—to be honest, I really don't know who won or if there even is a winner yet or if I signed up for the 2019 one: I'm a mess, guys. But anyway, I had to write a 500 word summary of my entire story, with spoilers, and I wasn't even finished part two at that point. So since I had to look ahead and say, "ok, this is going to happen and this happens and here's the ending", it made finishing it way easier. Plus, I found part two was much for smooth and better because I knew what was going to happen.

So in conclusion, write your entire book before publishing and maybe even figure out all the important events before you start writing. Of course, that's just what I do, maybe it won't work for you, I don't know. But definitely take notes along the way!

- How do you make your covers?
I literally look through Pinterest for hours, trying to find a good background picture, then use the app Studio Superimpose to edit the background or add something in, and then add in the words using the app UnderInk. Both are free, but UnderInk has some small in-app purchases that really are worth it. Either way, you can make a great cover without buying anything. Obviously, this would have to be for something that doesn't require copyright for covers and all unless you went on a royalty free website.

- How do you keep such a consistent update schedule?
I always finish my books before publishing, as already said. I—and this could be true for many of you—have a bad habit of writing a couple chapters of something, then come up with another idea, and forget about the first story. I've probably said this many times, but I have over fifty drafts. Of just books. Not combined chapters.

What happened with my first book/trilogy—*sigh*—was I really wanted to publish something and I had like five chapters already written so I was like, "yes! Perfect! Now I'll have plenty of time to write while I publish!" Not true. Slightly true for the first two books, but with the third, I had been writing the series for a couple years and my writing style got different and improved by a long shot(reading over the first book, almost every paragraph was one line long. I could not add any detail for the life of me). I got overly stressed because I wasn't publishing in time and it was a disaster. That's why it got discontinued.

So, when that I found finished with Supernatural, I had time to work on other books while I publish. I can post once a week because everything's done and ready—that's right, I could have published them all in like one day but I chose not to. So suck it :)

Of course, I know many writers on here write a chapter, post a chapter with no problem. Maybe it's because I get anxious and stressed and overwhelmed that I can't do it. But if you can keep a good schedule with your updates without writing it all first, fucking bravo. I don't know how you do it.

As you could probably tell by the RECORDS chapter, I tend to be organized. And a lot of people kept on asking me when I published, even though the description said weekly Wednesday updates...

- What are each of the characters Hogwarts houses?
I just thought of this randomly and got excited so I'm going to do it. This is just for fun. It's based on what I think(I've read and watched all the books and movies btw, I love them) and some are in two because I felt they fit both, for example, Casper is a Gryffinpuff.

Also, these are just 'main' characters. So, for example, Andrea and Carson who were only in it for like a chapter aren't in this, but Casper, who was barely a secondary character, is because he was mentioned a lot and plus I love him.

GRYFFINDOR: Morgan, Casper, Sean, Michael
SLYTHERIN: Pepper, Joey, Marcus, Madilyn
RAVENCLAW: Pepper, Monica, Harpocrates
HUFFLEPUFF: Rylie, Tyler, Casper
