Lian snuck out of the imperial palace and exposed the village healer to be a fraud and a devil-worshipper. Cursed by the spurned fire god, Huogwai, and disgraced and cast out by the royal family, Lian set out with her manservant Emiru to the kingdom of fire to rid her of the curse of uncontrollable flames for a chance to regain her claim to the throne. But being a fire disciple meant she was a practitioner of the forbidden arts. For those that hunt her kind, the game had just started.

The jade Serpent's Whisper

50 parts Ongoing Mature

In a world where ancient spirits and mortal realms intertwine, Lianhua and Liang, two warriors bound by fate, have faced perilous trials to protect their village, Qinglian. From defeating the Obsidian Wraith to sealing the Shadowborn's realm, their journey has been one of courage, unity, and unwavering resolve. But darkness is not so easily vanquished. Legends speak of the Celestial Veil, an ancient boundary between the mortal world and the spirit realm. When the balance of light and dark is disturbed, the veil weakens, allowing malevolent forces to slip through. As unsettling omens arise-rivers running black, shadows moving of their own accord-Lianhua and Liang are drawn into an even greater mystery. Guided by an enigmatic scholar, they must seek the Starfire Relic, a long-lost artifact said to restore equilibrium between realms. Their path takes them beyond Qinglian, into forbidden lands where time stands still and forgotten gods whisper in the wind. Along the way, they will uncover secrets of their pasts, test the limits of their courage, and face adversaries both human and divine. As they inch closer to the heart of the disturbance, one question looms: is the true enemy lurking in the darkness, or is it hidden within themselves?
