The early morning light barely seeped through the curtains, yet Xavier was already wide awake. His usually calm demeanor was nowhere to be found as he sat up abruptly, his mind racing. His sudden movement startled Ben, who was still deep in sleep.
"The hell, Xavier?" Ben groaned, rubbing his eyes as he peeked at his best friend through half-lidded eyes. He was used to Xavier being composed and slow to start the morning, but today was different.
Xavier didn't respond. Instead, he got up silently, gathering his clothes before disappearing into the bathroom. Ben smirked, still lying on his bed. "Yeah, yeah, go to your princess already." His tone was teasing, but Xavier barely acknowledged it, already lost in his thoughts.
Would she be wearing the necklace?Had she accepted his feelings? The uncertainty made his chest tighten slightly, but he shook it off. Soon, he would know.

Her heart swelled with happiness. She had worn the ring. She had accepted Xavier. And today, she would finally tell him.
Excitement bubbled inside her as she climbed out of bed, determined to look extra special today. Instead of her usual style, she decided to borrow Jane's clothes-something different, something soft and elegant.
