Baby Thea

Dianne💋 Thea slept the entirety of the first flight and was awake the whole of the second with about a 2 hour nap in the middle. We were currently waiting by the baggage claim, it kept saying it was coming out but I saw no sight of them. I had to carry Thea because the buggy and car seat came out on a different conveyer. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the car seat so I quickly got her settled in that and unfolded the buggy and clipped her in. I then got the bags that were circling around on their own. I remembered the airport from last year. I walked out and I had a flashback, this was the first time I ever set eyes on joe.
AngryMan🤬 "ugh get moving stupid girl!"
I was shaken out of my thoughts and I walked to the taxi rank and I knocked on the first one and she rolled down the passenger window.
TaxiDriver🚕 "sorry no screaming kids"
Dianne💋 "but you have the car seat base in the back"
TaxiDriver🚕 "that's a shame, no screaming crying kids"
Dianne💋 "but she's sound asleep! Look fine I'll go elsewhere"
TaxiDriver🚕 "where's you of to?"
Dianne💋 I told her the address I just prayed Ellie still lives there
TaxiDriver🚕 "and she'll be good?"
Dianne💋 "well she can hardly get out of her seat"
The lady got out of the car and stared at me while she put the two suitcases in the boot and I then placed the folded buggy frame into the boot along with it before putting the car seat in the base. She double checked the address and drove. I took a picture at the airport of my passport and I thought I would post it on my old Instagram to simply see who and if anyone would reply. I was aware that it was 8pm in England so it was getting late I was hoping Ellie and Zoë weren't out otherwise I was screwed.
Outside The Apartments
Dianne💋 I payed the taxi driver and she apologised for before she said 'I normally don't deal with single parents, let alone teenage ones. I guess you shouldn't judge someone on their looks'
I was so tempted to reply with a big rant but I simply smiled sarcastically and said 'No you shouldn't, I am capable of looking after my own daughter'
I got everything and Thea out and stood at the door just looking in, remembering all of the memories. Where I had 'that cigarette' and when I came home from several shopping trips. I walked in seeing the same paintings, lifts, everything. I called the lift and went up to the apartment. It's not to late to turn back, I kept saying in my head. I wouldn't I've worked so hard for this I should be able to feel proud of my accomplishments, somehow I felt feared. The door to the apartment was on the right hand side and along from the lifts, I saw Thea was smiling away at me with her gummy smile, she gave me the confidence I needed so I wheeled the pram up to the side of the door so it wasn't visible but I could still see her I didn't have her facing me because that would be too obvious, she faced away. When I left she was smiling at me and I saw terrified because she was very talkative recently.
*knock knock*
Zoë🎄 "who's that at this time! Joes gone with the boys tonight"
Ellie🌝 "I'll go"
I walked to the door and didn't bother to look through the viewing thing when I opened it I saw that read hair, that smile, those eyes, my Dianne. We both burst into tears.
Zoë🎄 I heard Ellie crying and what sounded like someone else
"Ellie what's wrong!" I said as I went from the kitchen to the door.
Wait, no, Dianne?
"Dianne? Wait, what, Dianne?"
Dianne💋 "Surprise"
I was so overwhelmed by the love I was still so conscious of Thea.
"I don't know what to say"
Ellie🌝 "come in!"
Dianne💋 "wait, I need to show you something/explain something"
Zoë🎄 "no you don't just come in"
Dianne💋 "no no no, I do, it's erm pretty big"
Ellie🌝 "what"
Dianne💋 "well..."
I walked round and saw thea smiling up at me, I took her out of the buggy
"Ellie and Zoë, I, well I have a daughter"
