Joe- okay so, I have been thinking about this for weeks and then I was going to do it when Dianne was pregnant, but then we all know that it didn't work out, then I would have done it a couple of days ago but then we didn't know if she would make it, look she's fine now so now its the perfect time

Joe- I am I am, so obviously, you two are the only proper family Dianne has, I know Dianne doesn't speak to her dad and Rita I know you don't. And I wanted to do it the proper way.
So can I have your permission for Diannes hand in marriage?
Ellie- omg joe!
Rita- first of all I am obviously in shock but on my behalf she couldn't marry anyone better

Rita- and dianne is fine?
Joe- yeah she's fine, she's with thea and Zoë at the moment

Ellie- well your asking someone who came home after arguing about sleeping up there to then go back up an hour later
Joe- oh tell everyone then Ellie, I was up at the hospital with Dianne last night, she's absolutely fine nothing to worry about
Rita- oh well that is good, right well Ellie you will have to let me know when it all happens
Ellie- don't worry I will, don't say anything not that they all care but you know what I mean
Rita- oh you know they will all all of a sudden care, right well joe that was wonderful news but I best be off now. Are you two going back to the hospital?
Joe- yeah, I think Dianne would kill me if I was any longer
Ellie- come on then let's go back up and see Dianne, bye nanny!

I gave joe a hug and we went back to the hospital. When we were in the car I was talking to joe about songs

Joe🎮 "I've always said I wanted it to be your song, but the night of the club we had a dance to perfect by Ed sheeran, I think it's perfect, hahah perfect"
Ellie🌝 "ahh cute"
Joe🎮 "she might not say yes yet"
Ellie🌝 "your joking, of course she's gonna say yes, she would be a idiot not to marry you"
Joe🎮 "thanks, let's hope she will say yes"
Ellie🌝 "of course she bloody will, and I won't tell Zoë so she will find out the same time as Dianne"

We parked at the hospital and went inside. We made it up to the ward and Dianne was up and walking
"Dianne what you doing up?"
Dianne💋 "well I needed to get up, joe I'm coming home!!"
Joe🎮 "today!"
I started to panic because I hadn't bought the ring and I was going to do it as soon as she got home.
Dianne💋 "you don't seem to happy?"
Joe🎮 "no I am I really am! I'm so happy! You're coming home! I just didn't expect it, that's all"

OMG!!! I did not expect to be talking to any of you again! I could fully cry about how happy I am. I pressed on wattpad by accident, and came back to over 200 notifications (I have them turned off) and when I looked I saw it was on this account I almost screamed! Look I'm very tired as per but I thought I would post these again there aren't many left but I want to post as I know I'd left it on a MASSIVE cliffhanger whoops}
