Morning Letter

Dianne💋 I woke up in an unfamiliar environment and I looked to my right to see someone standing there, I couldn't see their face but they were close to me and practically leaning over me. I looked to my left and saw an empty chair, I rubbed my eyes and went to sit up, the, who I had now realised doctor, put his hand on my shoulder keeping me down.
"Excuse me do you know where my boyfriends gone?"
Doctor👨🏻‍⚕️ "ah yes, short, terrible floppy hair"
Dianne💋 "I wouldn't say terrible but yeah that's him"
Doctor👨🏻‍⚕️ "ah he told me to give you this when you woke up"
Dianne💋 "okay? Thanks I guess"
The doctor handed me a letter addressed to me I opened it wonder why he wrote me a letter.

Dear Dianne
I'm sorry I can't do this, you don't need to deal with me at the moment. You need someone who can be strong for you I'm sorry. I'm going to my mums in Wiltshire for a week or more I've got Thea with me so you can completely relax. I'm sorry Dianne its all my fault, I'll be back I promise and if you want Thea with you my mum said she will run her back. You might not think it but it's for the best. For all of us.

I read it and tear marks dampened the page.
"Do you know what time he left this morning?"
Doctor👨🏻‍⚕️ "he left at 7 this morning so three hours ago now"
Dianne💋 "oh, okay thank you, do you know where my bag is?"

I pulled out my phone and immediately phoned joe it went straight to voicemail
Voicemail- hello you've got through to my answer phone leave a message and I will call you back
Dianne- joe it's me, please come back, I love you, at least let me talk to Thea, p-please joe

I thought I should call one of the girls to see if they knew anything I tried Ellie and it rang but she didn't answer I decided to try Zoë before phoning Tracey, joes mum.
Zoë- ello
Dianne- Hey, have you heard from your idiot brother?
Zoë- no what's happened
Dianne- he's left me
Zoë- wait what!
Dianne- yeah he left me a letter saying how he couldn't do 'this' anymore, he's gone to your mums
Zoë- shit, where's Thea?
Dianne- w, with him
Zoë- right I'm coming up the hospital and I'm gonna phone the prick, do you want anything?

Liv- erm about half eight why?
Dianne- shit, oh he's left me well I think he has
Liv- wait what! He said he was picking Thea up to come and see you when you woke up
Dianne- he's lied to you, he's gone to his mums with Thea, I don't know what to do
Liv- I'm so sorry Dianne, I would never have let him have Thea if I'd have known
Dianne- it's fine I know you wouldn't, okay so he will probably be with his mum by now, thanks Liv I'll update you on the situation

Dianne- I've not had time to think about it yet
